The Amblyometer® detects amblyopia (lazy eye) by comparing the brightness sense between the Right and Left eyes.  Amblyopia causes a significant loss of brightness in the amblyopia eye.  Testing requires only the choice of the brighter spaceship, it is as simple as that.  Watch the video: "Choose the brighter spaceship".

The Equalizer also detects brightness imbalance and is designed for adults, partially those with optic nerve disease including glaucoma.
